Setting package identity

Establishing the package identity defines the identity of the running server process. A server process can run either as Interactive User or as a specified Windows NT user account. It's typical for server processes to run as Interactive User; however, in real deployment scenarios, an NT user account will be the usual case.

    To set package identity:

  1. Select the package whose identity you want to change.

  2. On the File menu, click Properties and select the Identity tab.

  3. Select the This user option and enter the user name and password for the Windows NT user account.
