You install Microsoft Transaction Server (MTS) on your computer by using the Windows NT 4.0 Option Pack setup program. The Minimum, Typical, and Custom setup options determine the scope of the MTS documentation and components installed on your computer.
If you select the "Minimal" install option, you install MTS without any product documentation or samples. The "Typical" install option includes MTS and product documentation.
In order to obtain the MTS development documentation and sample applications, you must choose the "Custom" install option.
