Adding a Node Directly to the Namespace

You can add folders, links to web sites, and controls directly to the MMC namespace, in any location.

To add a node to the namespace:
  1. In the scope (left) pane, select the node under which you want to add the new node.
  2. Above the scope pane, click Action, point to Create New, and then click the object you want to add.
  3. If further dialog boxes appear, use them to configure the new object.

 

To remove a node from the namespace:
  1. In either pane, select the node you want to remove.
  2. Press the Delete key.
