Path Header Field

The Path Header Field is an optional entry that identifies a
string used for the Path Header in each news posting. The Path
Header displays the path a news message takes to reach its destination.
When a news server forwards a news message, it adds the Path Header
descriptive string to the message in the Path line. Any punctuation
characters except the period (.) can separate the Path header. See
RFC 1036 for more information on how NNTP Path statements are generated.
