IIS Admin Objects for Microsoft NNTP Service

The IIS Admin Objects are Component Object Model (COM) objects that you can use to change values in the IIS metabase. You can use these objects with automation languages such as Microsoft® Visual Basic® Scripting Edition (VBScript), Microsoft® JScriptÖ, C++, or any other language that supports automation. These IIS Admin Objects provide a simple and effective way to use ASP scripts to build custom administration programs. Details of the IIS administration programming tools for automation languages are presented in the following sections in the IIS documentation:

• IIS Metabase describes the structure, storage, features, performance, and security of the metabase, which stores the IIS configuration data.
