Use this page to set up expiration policies. You can base expiration on the age of newsgroups (for example, keeping newsgroups that are no more than 720 hours old), or on the size of newsgroups (for example, expiring the oldest newsgroup articles in comp.* when the hierarchy reaches 100 megabytes). When expiring by newsgroup size, the oldest articles are deleted until the newsgroup is under the specified size.

When you click OK, you can specify which newsgroups use the expiration policy just added.

Newsgroups Older Than
Select this option to expire articles when a newsgroup is older than the age specified in the Max ___ Hours box.

Newsgroups Bigger Than
Select this option to expire articles when a newsgroup is greater than the size specified in the Max ___ Megabytes box.
