Exploration Air Named Airline of the Year 1997 At GG&G Awards for Second Year

Seattle, WA, January 29 -- Exploration Air has won GG&G’s coveted Airline of the Year award for 1996. CEO Sharon F. Fitzgerald accepted the awards at a ceremony held at the Main Street Theater in New York on January 4, 1997.

In accepting the award, Ms. Fitzgerald said, "We are incredibly proud to receive such an important award, and we are indeed humbled."

Commenting on Exploration Air’s success, Mr. Don Hall, GG&G’s Editor, said: "Exploration Air continues to set the standards for the industry, and this is reflected in being awarded this significant achievement for two straight years."
