The Edit drop-down menu houses the Cut, Copy, Paste, and Delete commands. These commands are not enabled unless an item (text or graphic) is selected; or, for the Paste command, an item has been placed in the clipboard (by copying or cutting). You can also delete a selected item by pressing Delete on your keyboard.
