To play a CD

1. With Windows Media Player started, insert a CD into the CD-ROM drive.
2. On the Play menu, point to CD Audio, VCD or CD Audio or DVD, VCD or CD Audio (the command varies depending on the version of Windows your computer is running), and then click the drive that contains the CD.

Notes

• If you have installed a DVD decoder, the DVD, VCD or CD Audio menu command appears on the Play menu.
• You can also click the Quick Access Panel button and then click the CD in the list.
• To play a CD repeatedly, on the Play menu, click Repeat.
• DVD and VCD playback is only available on select versions of Windows. For more information, see Special features.
