To change the audio quality of tracks copied from CDs

1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
2. Click the Copy Music tab.
3. If necessary, in the Format list, click a different format for the tracks.
4. In the Audio quality area, move the slider to the quality level that you want to use.

Note

• If you select Windows Media Audio Lossless, the slider is unavailable and the CD tracks must be copied at the best quality level. This feature is only available on select versions of Windows. For more information, see Special features.
