You can find digital media on the Internet by using the Media Guide and Premium Services features. Media Guide contains a live Web page that is hosted by WindowsMedia.com. The guide is like an electronic magazine; it is updated daily with links to the latest movies, music, and video on the Internet, and includes a broad range of topics from international news to the latest developments in the entertainment industry.
You can play everything listed in Media Guide by using Windows Media Player.
Premium Services integrates subscription services, such as PressPlay and FullAudio, with the Player. Once you subscribe to a service, you can stream, download, manage, play, and in some cases, copy digital media content. You may also be able to copy digital media content to portable devices that have security levels above 1000. Downloaded digital media content is listed in Media Library in the Premium Services category, but it is also available in the All Music and All Video categories.
Note that digital media content from a subscription service may only be available as long as you are a subscriber to that service.
If you subscribe to multiple subscription services, you can specify a default service to be displayed when you click Premium Services. Any other services are available by clicking the Premium Services arrow button next to Premium Services.
