Uninstalling NVBar. Since I dislike applications that leave files everywhere, I decided to make NVBar easy to uninstall. All files except 2 are installed to the directory you specified in the installation program. These files are CMDIALOG.VBX and CTRL3DV2.DLL which are installed to your windows SYSTEM directory. These files are on most systems to begin with so I do not suggest removing it, even if you do uninstall NVBar. If you do decide to remove these files, back them up somewhere first (i.e. copy to another directory.) Then run all your Windows programs. If any abort with an error, saying they can't find a file, copy CMDIALOG.VBX & CTRL3DV2.DLL back to your SYSTEM directory. Therefore, to uninstall, all you have to do is: 1) Make sure NVBar is not your shell. (In the Configure NVBar window, make sure the "Use NVBar as Shell" Box is UNchecked.) 2) Quit all running instances of NVBar. 3) Remove the directory that NVBar was installed to by the method of your choice (deltree in DOS, or using the File Manager.) 4) [Optional] Remove the file mentioned above, if you know what you're doing. 5) Delete any icons/program groups created in the program manager. 6) Remove any reference to NVBar from the run or load lines in the win.ini file. (If YOU modified these files, NVBar does NOT modify these lines.)
