Studley T. Icon V1.2 (c) 1994, 1995 Excel Progs I. Introduction II. What You Need III. Running Studley T. Icon IV. Support Info V. Registering VI. Revisions VI. Warranty/Disclaimer I. Introduction Congratulations for downloading Studley T. Icon. This is the second upgrade of the original Studley The Icon. The first upgrade was to make this program POSTCARDWARE, and this second upgrade has added many key features as well as making Studley work under Windows 95. There is now no cost for this program, and no registrations shall be accepted from the V1.0 version. S.T.I. is described as "Your Personal Desktop Excercise Motivator." In plain English, Studley will try to motivate you to exercise a little more. Too many of us spend too much time in front of the computer typing and staring at a monitor. Lighten up! Get up every now and then, and perform a few exercises! A few stretches, jumps, and jogging could greatly reduce the chances of disease and increase your health as a whole. II. What You Need In order to use S.T.I., you need the following: o MS-Windows 3.1 or higher o VBRUN300.DLL (found at many fine BBS's and distribution networks) III. Running Studley T. Icon In order to run S.T.I., you need to copy, unpack,..etc the files you received. Get VBRUN300.DLL from your distribution site (or The Other World BBS), and place it to your Windows directory. Add the S.T.I. icon to your program manager and double-click the icon (or just run it straight using your pm's run command). You can also place a link to Studley the Icon from your startup group (or folder), causing Studley to automatically start working out every time you run the computer. You should see the Studley main window, and at the bottom-left corner of the screen you should see a small icon of Studley T. Icon doing some exercises. After he is finished, he will return to a standing position and wait 15 seconds to do more. By clicking on Studley, you will be brought to the configuration menu whether or not it has been hidden/minimized. Studley's mission will be described, and the logo for EP will be shown. The top menu will have the captions "Options" and "About." By clicking on the "Options" pull-down menu, you can choose how long to let Studley wait before he performs his next exercise. You can also force Studley to keep exercising indefinitely by choosing "Run Constantly!" You also have an option to automatically show the welcome screen every time you run the program. A final option to "Change Default Position" will show a picture of a computer monitor and 9 buttons. Click on the button corresponding to the position where you wish Studley to reside. You can also exit the program, stopping Studley's strenuous workout. The "About" caption will bring a message box with a brief description of Studley's creator including where to send fan-mail :) and the home support bulletin board's number :) IV.
