Tiles This effect breaks up a clip into a series of tiles. In the effect's dialog box, you specify the number of vertical tiles you want, the maximum distance you want a tile to be offset from its original position, and how you want to fill the area between tiles. You can fill this area with white (the background color), with black (the foreground color), with an inverse (negative) version of the image, or with the unaltered image. You can also make the area between the tiles transparent by applying Transparency, selecting Alpha Channel, and then selecting either Background color or Foreground color.
