Notch/Hum Filter Power lines can introduce a humming noise in audio clips. This can happen when cables or equipment are improperly shielded or grounded. Use the Notch/Hum Filter effect to help remove hum from an audio clip. Because this effect is a notch effect, tuned to remove one frequency, you can use it to remove any unwanted sound that exists at a specific frequency. Notch frequency Specifies the frequency to be removed. If you are removing power-line hum, type a value that matches the power-line frequency used by the electrical system where the clip was recorded. For example, in North America and Japan type 60 Hz, and in most other countries type 50 Hz. Applying Effects > Audio effects included with Premiere > Notch/Hum Filter |
