The Adobe Help system provides detailed information on all the commands and features of the product for both Windows and Mac OS.

To find a help topic:

Do one of the following:

  • Click the Contents tab to browse through topics by headings.
  • Click the Index tab to see a list of index entries.
  • Click the Search tab to search for words.

  • To move through topics:

    Do one of the following:

  • Click to display the previous topic in the sequence.
  • Click to display the next topic in the sequence.

  • To get more out of help:

    In a help topic, you can click highlighted words to view referenced or related topics:

  • The highlighted words in a topic body link directly to a referenced topic.
  • The highlighted text across the top of the topic shows the current topic's position in the hierarchy. You can click a highlighted word to go up a level.
  • The current topic's position in the hierarchy also appears at the bottom of the topic. Again, you can click a highlighted word to go up a level. In addition, some topics include a list of links at the bottom that you can click to display information related to the current topic.
