To update the Player

• Do one of the following:
  • To check for updates on demand, on the Help menu, click Check For Player Updates, and then follow the instructions on the screen.
  • To check for updates automatically, on the Tools menu, click Options. Click the Player tab, and then click one of the following option buttons: Once a day, Once a week, or Once a month.

Notes

• To update the Player, you must be logged on to your computer with a user account that permits you to install programs (for example, an account that is a member of the Administrators or Power Users groups). For more information about user accounts, see Windows Help.
• You must be connected to the Internet to complete this procedure.
