To set parental control for DVDs

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the DVD tab.
  2. Select the Parental control check box.
  3. In Select a rating, click the highest-rated movie that you want to allow users to view without entering an administrator user name and password.

For example, click PG to allow users to only view movies that the Motion Picture Association of America has either rated as PG, G, or not rated at all. If a user tries to view a movie or segment rated higher than PG, the movie or segment does not play until the user enters a valid administrator user name and password.
