To delete a file from Media Library

1. Click Media Library, and then find the file that you want to delete.
2. Right-click the file, and then click Delete from Library.
3. If prompted, choose one of the following options:
   • Delete from Media Library only
   • Delete from Media Library and my computer.

Notes

• If you are certain that you will always want to delete files from your computer when you delete them from Media Library, you can select the Always delete physical file when I delete an item from my library check box. To select this check box, on the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Media Library tab. Selecting this check box also means that you will not be prompted each time you delete a file.
• To select contiguous files, press and hold the SHIFT key. To select files that are not contiguous, press and hold the CTRL key.
