To change the number of stars for an item
- Click Media Library, and then find the item that you want to rate.
- Right-click the item, point to Rate Selected Items, and then click the number of stars, or click Unrated.
- One star is the lowest rating. Five stars is the highest rating.
Notes
- By default, all items in Media Library have an auto rating of three stars. Subsequent auto ratings are based on your play count for the item.
- When you rate an item, the auto rating is replaced by your rating in the Rating column in Media Library. Your rating is listed as My Rating in the criteria for auto playlists. You can use both your auto rating or My Rating to create auto playlists.
- A filled star indicates that the star is selected; an empty star indicates that the star is not selected.
