To change the audio quality of tracks copied from CDs

1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
2. Click the Copy Music tab.
3. If necessary, select the file format (type) for the tracks.
4. In the Audio quality area, move the slider to the quality level that you want to use.

Note

• The Windows Media Audio Professional format only allows CD tracks to be copied at the best quality and makes the slider unavailable.
