To add volume leveling values to files

  1. On the File menu, point to Add to Media Library, and then click By Searching Computer.
  2. In Look in, choose the location of the Windows Media or MP3 files to which you want to add volume leveling values.
  3. Select the Show advanced search options check box, if it is not selected.
  4. Select Add volume leveling values for all files, and then click Search.

    The Player evaluates the volume level in each of the files in the folder you selected, adds a corresponding volume leveling value to each file, and then adds the files to Media Library.
