How can i normalize mp3 files?
The best way is to use: MP3 Gain (http://www.geocities.com/mp3gain/)

Why is there no treble, mid and bass control in the player?
The programm is mainly created for output to a mixer and most mixers already have that.
So why implement in a programm and make the programm bigger and more Memory & CPU needed?
In the feature it will only be included if a lot of people ask it.
For fancy stuff you can use WinAmp or just pay to much for those fancy players (except deejaysytem).

How can i record a mix?
The programm is created for playback only but... you can use your soundcard input for recording.
This is how to do:
Connect 1 output of your mixer to a soundcard input. (When you only have 1 output connect to a amplifier out)
In windows "Control panel" open "Multimedia" applet and select the soundcard for recording.
Press the "volume" button and select "Line in" in the popup window and close the windows.
Now open MP3DirectCut created by Martin Pesch (http://www.rz.uni-frankfurt.de/~pesch/).
Set desired settings and press "Rec".
Now press "Play" to start recording.
Go mixing in MP3 Tunes and your mix will be recorded by MP3DirectCut as a MP3.

Recording uses about 40% processor power of my PIII 450 MHz to my UDMA66 7200rpm harddisk.
