Left or Right Audio setup

When you don't have 4 soundcards you take the option to output in "mono"
This enables you to split a soundcard output in 2 mono outputs.

So for example:
- Put Left player output to the left channel of soundcard 1
- Put Right player output to the right channel of soundcard 1
- Put Pre-listen player output to the left channel of soundcard 2
- Put Jingle player output to the right channel of soundcard 2
In this setting you only need 2 soundcards or even less.
The only thing is, that everything will be played mono!

Now you're wondering how to split the output to your mixer, well...
Buy a splitter (RCA-Y cable) or create one!

I want to create a splitter, but how?
You need:

Now cut the 2 female jack's of a "Audiojack (RCA) extension cable".
Make the core cables visible easy with the knife.
Combine the 2 outer cables.
Combine the 2 inner cables.
Now connect the combined inner cables to the inner connection of a female (RCA) jack. (black = left, red = right)
Now connect the combined outer cables to the outer connection of the female (RCA) jack.

WARNING! The inner cables may not contact the outer cables!
Now plug the femalejack into the correspondig color of your "RCA plugs to one 1/8 in. (3.5 mm) stereo plug" conversion cable that leeds to the soundcard.
Don't have a conversion cable and your soundcard doesn't support RCA? Buy a RCA to 1/8 in. (3.5 mm) stereo plug cable.
Do the same with the other "Audiojack (RCA) extension cable".
