For best results when creating CDs for use on conventional CD players, try to use commercial, "name brand" CD-R media specifically designed for digital audio. This will ensure compatibility with the highest number of CD players. Generic CD-R media may not work properly on some conventional, portable or car CD players. Also, Musicmatch Jukebox supports standard 650MB, 74min CD-R media, and 700MB, 80 minute CDs . Musicmatch Jukebox will create CDs on both CD-R and CD-RW drives.
In order to create CDs with Musicmatch
Use a CD-R drive that is supported by Musicmatch Jukebox.
Have a properly installed CD-R on your system (hardware and software, including ASPI drivers).
If the above criteria is met, and you are still experiencing CD-R errors when trying to create a CD from within the Musicmatch Jukebox Playlist using the CD-R button, try the following to maximize functionality and reliability prior to starting to "Create CD" process:
Reduce the speed to 1X (selectable from within the CD-R button and Options/Speed).
Select Use hard drive cache (selectable from within the CD-R Options button).
Disable Cache (selectable from within Options/Cache).
Turn off auto insert notification (Windows system setting).
Turn off activation of screen saver (Windows system setting).
Turn off activation of sleep mode if applicable (Windows system setting).
