Allow you to select or deselect the source track. You can edit selected source tracks onto selected record tracks. The character V on the Source Track buttons indicates video tracks and the character A indicates audio tracks.

To patch (edit) to a track other than the track on the same line, click the Source Track button and drag it to the Record Track button you want. See Using the Track Selector Panel.
