Adds an edit at the current position on the selected tracks. Press and hold the Alt key to add edits in all filler clips at the current position.

If you map the Add Edit button to a key on the keyboard, then you can press the key to add edits while you play the sequence. The edits appear when you stop playback. See Adding an Edit.
