The first band, the low shelf, has four turnover points (50 Hz, 80 Hz, 120 Hz, and 240 Hz). A turnover point is the point at which the curve starts to return to zero. The low shelf affects all frequency values from 20 Hz to the low shelf turnover point. See Using the Audio EQ Tool.
