Description
| Rotates the image around the X, Y, or Z axis. Since parameter values range between –720 and +720 degrees, you can spin the image more than once between two keyframes. For an explanation of rotation angles, see Moving in 3D Space. | ||
Use of Controls
| Rotation buttons | ![]() | Click the appropriate Rotation button on the right side of the Effect Editor to adjust the rotation directly in the Effect Preview monitor. |
Enable button | ![]() | Click the Enable button to turn the Rotation parameter category on or off. The button is pink when the parameter category is on and gray when it is off. Alt+click (Windows) or Command+click (Macintosh) the Enable button to reset the Rotation parameter controls to their default values. | |
Z | Moves the center of rotation along the Z axis (clockwise or counterclockwise). Values range from –720 to +720, where 0 is the center of the Z axis. | ||
X | Moves the center of rotation along the X axis (right or left). Values range from –720 to +720, where 0 is the center of the X axis. | ||
Y | Moves the center of rotation along the Y axis (up or down). Values range from –720 to +720, where 0 is the center of the Y axis. |
