Use of Controls | Transition Effect Alignment button | ![]() | Click the Transition Effect Alignment button to open a pop-up menu, and then select a position option. Ending at Cut — The transition effect starts a number of frames before the cut defined by the duration, such that the effect completes at the cut point in the video. Centered on Cut — The transition is centered on the cut so that half the effect occurs before the cut point and half occurs after the cut point in the sequence. Starting at Cut — The transition effect starts immediately after the last frame of the outgoing video is displayed. Custom Start — Allows you to specify the number of frames before and after the cut to be included in the effect. |
Transition Effect Duration box | ![]() | ||
Click in the box, and type a value to specify the length of time that the effect will span the transition. The Transition Effect Duration format that the effect displays (for example, 1:00 is 1 second and 0 frames) is determined by the Transition Effect Duration setting you selected at the top of the Effect Preview monitor. |
