Basic Manipulation Operations
You can use commands from the Edit menu to manipulate objects.
To perform basic operations:

Click the Selection tool, and click an object.

Do one of the following:

Select Edit > Cut to cut an object and move it to the Clipboard.
|

Select Edit > Copy to copy an object to the Clipboard.
|

Select Edit > Paste to paste an object from the Clipboard.
|

Select Edit > Select All to select all objects.
|
|
| |
Select Edit > Delete to delete selected objects.
|

You cannot delete locked objects. Unlock objects you want to delete.

Select Edit > Duplicate to duplicate an object.
