Making Text Bold or Italic
The Bold and Italic buttons are located under the Point Size text box.
In addition, the Object menu contains commands for bold and italic.

To change the text style:

Select the text you want to change and click the Bold button or the
Italic button, or select the appropriate command from the Object menu.

You can work with Bold and Italic turned on at the same time to make
text both bold and italic.
