Setting the Default Text Attributes
When you start the Avid editing application and open the Title tool, it uses default text attributes. You can change the defaults at any time. Changes you make to the default text attributes apply until you quit the application.
To change the default text attributes:

Click the Selection tool.

Click in the Title tool but do not select any text.

Change any of the text attributes.

Now whenever you start typing a new text string, the Title tool uses your new defaults.
