Cutting, Copying, and Pasting in the Timeline
You can use the traditional shortcut keys for cutting, copying, and pasting segments selected in the Timeline.
To cut or copy and paste:

Select the segment using one of the Segment Mode buttons.

Do one of the following:

Select Edit > Copy.
|

Press Ctrl+C (Windows) or Command+C (Macintosh) to copy.

Select Edit > Cut.
|
|
| |
Press Ctrl+X (Windows) or Command+X (Macintosh) to cut.

Move the position indicator to the new IN point.
|
| 4. | |
Press Ctrl+V (Windows) or Command+V (Macintosh) to paste the
segment in the Timeline.
