Changing Project and User Names
You cannot change project or user names from within the Avid application. You must change the name from your desktop before starting the application. The Avid Users and Avid Projects folders are located in:

To change a project or user name:
1. | |
Navigate to the Avid Projects or the Avid Users folder, and then
double-click the folder.
|

Click the name of the folder you want to change, and then click it
again.
|
The name is highlighted for text entry.
3. | |
Type the new name of the folder.

When you change a user name or project name, make sure you change the
name of the folder and all the files in the folder that have the old name. The
system does not automatically change the names of corresponding files in
the folder.

Close the windows and restart the Avid application.
