Changing Screen Resolution (Macintosh)

To view or change the screen resolution:

Select Apple menu > System Preferences.

The System Preferences window opens.

In the Hardware area, click Displays.

Select a resolution in the Resolutions list.

Keep Colors set to Millions.

Click the Close button or click Show All to return to the System Preferences window.

If you use two monitors and the second monitor has a resolution of 800áxá600, it automatically becomes the Client monitor.
