Setting Default Options for Enhancements
You can specify a new default template and other default information, including ITV SMPTE-363M settings, in the Options dialog box. These settings are linked to the account that you used to log in.
To set default options:
1.  Select Enhancement > Options.
The Options dialog box opens.
2.  Click the User Profile tab and specify the following information:
(Option) Default Values: These values are displayed when you click the Default button in the New Enhancement pane or Edit Enhancement pane.
If you type ITV in the META Type text box and SMPTE-363M in the Sub-type text box and then click in another text box or click Enter, the ITV SMPTE-363M attributes appear.
For information about opaque attributes, see Opaque Enhancement Attributes. For information about ITV SMPTE-363M attributes, see ITV SMPTE-363M Enhancement Attributes.
Select Template: Select a template for creating new enhancements. The values of the first enhancement in the template are the default values for a new enhancement. For more information, see Creating Enhancements File Templates.

3.  Click the ITV-SMPTE tab and specify the following information:
Skip: Do not allow values for expiration time or duration.
Expires: Select Expires At to allow an expiration time (a fixed date and time) or select Expires In to allow an expiration duration.
Preview Time: Specify the time, in seconds, that you want ITV SMPTE-363M enhancements to be displayed (see Displaying ITV SMPTE-363M Enhancements).
If you change the Expires option from the option set in an existing enhancements file, MetaSync Manager calculates the equivalent measurement, based on the computer's current Date and Time. If the Expires At time has expired and you have selected to display the Expires In format, MetaSync Manager displays the default labels (Year, Month, Day, and so on) in the Edit Enhancement pane.
4.  Do one of the following:
Click Apply to set the new values and keep the dialog box open.
Click OK to save the new values and close the dialog box.
