| Improve text readability |
|
| To ensure optimal text readability, make sure that the smoothing preferences are set appropriately for your LCD screen to minimize contrast between the background and the text. |
| 1. | Choose Edit > Preferences (Windows) or Adobe Reader > Preferences (Mac OS), and select Smoothing in the Preferences dialog box. |
| 2. | Select to smooth text, line art, or images. |
| 3. | Select Use CoolType to adjust Adobe PDF text display so that it works optimally with your monitor. This is recommended for laptops. |
| 4. | Select the type sample that looks the best, and click OK. |
