Enable plugin support |
Starting from version 5.0, Internet Explorer has been supporting extension features procedure provided by third party software vendors, which is called "IE Extension". It makes a quicker and more convenient web browsing in the form of a tool bar or a tool button. MYIE2 is the first multi-page browser to support IE extension procedure ( IE plugin). Currently MYIE2 supports many kinds of IE plugins in the form of a tool bar. Here are the typical examples:
In addition, MYIE2 supports IE plugins in the form of buttons. For example: MSN extension button, FlashGet extension button and Kingsoft Ciba extension button (Note:Under Kingsoft Ciba, you can fetch English words meanings in Chinese translation or vice versa without having to open its interafce) and so on. They also includes MYIE2 fully compatible plugins. Further information, please refer to [plugins documentation].
Operation steps1. First, In the "MYIE2 options.. > advance > options " . Select " IE extensions support". Then restart MYIE2. 2. After that, you may select "MYIE2 options... > Advance > IE plugin " and "MYIE2 options... > advance > MYIE2 plugin" to initiate workable plugins.
3. You may need to enable plguins bar to make some plguins show up. Note: Use IE extension with MYIE2 under Window 9x may bring more problems, because IE plugin is not design for MYIE2. If you encounter some problem with IE externsion enabled, please try to disable it and try again. If you want some IE plugin works with MYIE2, we suggest you ask the author to add support for MYIE2. |
