Introduction

Bandwidth Controller allows you to limit network bandwidth.  It is useful in an environment where you need full control over your network utilization.

For example if you have several clients accessing the internet through a single server, you can limit the throughput of all clients to 10 kilobytes per second so that no one person can use all of the available bandwidth.  It is even possible, through the use of filters, to control a single machine and give everyone else unrestricted access.

You can set limits between 0 and 1,000,000,000 (1 gigabyte) bytes per second, allowing full customization of the networking infrastructure.  Network traffic from certain addresses or protocols can be controlled seperately to other traffic.
