Capturing Pictures

Capturing a picture is the act of commanding Camera Controller to take a picture and save it.  Depending upon your settings, the picture may be optionally downloaded and deleted from the camera.

In general, to capture a picture you will;

1. Set up the camera using the exposure control window and the main window's focus/zoom tools
2. Preview the results of the exposure settings using one or more of the preview modes.  See Previewing pictures  and the main window camera preview, picture preview, and video preview button descriptions for more details about previewing pictures.
3. Capture the final picture(s) using the main window Capture button.

• Captured pictures are stored in the folder specified in the "Download directory" box on the option window's "File Location" tab.
