Camera Controller Errors

The following tables list the errors displayed by Camera Controller.  

Error numbers from 1001-1099 are reserved for Camera Controller and generally have to do with the user interface and top-level camera parameters selected by the user.

  • USB or serial cable not properly connected.
  • Camera is hung and not responding.
1002Error disconnecting from camera.
  • Communications cable was disconnected before exiting Camera Controller.
  • Camera was powered off before exiting Camera Controller.
1003Camera is not ready for communications. Check USB cables, re-power camera, and try again.
  • Communications cable was disconnected while Camera Controller was attempting to communicate with the camera.
  • Camera was powered off while Camera Controller was attempting to communicate with the camera.
  • Camera hung and stopped responding while Camera Controller was attempting to communicate with the camera.
1004Invalid interval specified. Check interval value and try again.
  • The timelapse interval specified on the timelapse window was invalid.
1005Invalid target directory. Select a valid target directory and try again.
  • The download target directory specified on the download window was invalid.
1006No pictures stored in camera.
  • Camera Controller did not find any pictures stored in the camera.
1007No camera was found. Check connections, camera state and try again.
  • Camera not turned on
  • Camera not properly connected to the PC
  • Camera is hung and not responding
  • Camera is not in "PC mode"
1008Timer overlap! Your current timelapse settings result in an interval that is too short to complete all the tasks for each interval. Lengthen your interval, turn off webcam, use a lower resolution, or don't include the capture time in the timelapse interval.
  • The timelapse interval specified is too short to allow all the selected tasks to complete before the next timer interrupt occurred and the "Include capture time in timelapse interval?" setting is disabled.
1009Invalid camera brand selected. Please select a camera brand from the list and click OK.
  • No camera type was selected on the select camera type window.
1010Invalid parameter passed to routine.
  • An invalid parameter was specified on the add/edit camera model window.

Error numbers from 2100-2110 are reserved for the ICC_Camera interface and usually indicate lack of camera support for a particular function or problems communicating with the camera.

  • Camera not turned on.
  • Camera not connected properly to PC
  • Camera not in PC mode

Errors from 2110-2199 are reserved for the camera support modules and usually indicate problems communicating with the camera.  These errors are camera specific and have different meanings that depend upon the camera model selected and therefore are not listed here.
