Visualizations are morphing, changing graphics which are displayed in
the Media Window. The Visualization Editor allows you to create your own,
customized Visualizations, or choose a basic, "spectrometer"
design.
Go to the menu and click View/Visualizations/Select
Visualization, or click the Visualization
button
under the Media Window.
Choose Visualization
Editor, then click Configure.
The Visualization Editor widow will open. See Visualization
Editor
for further instructions.
Or, choose Spectrometer to view a bar-graph, equalizer-style Visualization.
Click Start, then OK to begin
Visualization
Editor
Once the Visualization Editor window
is open, it takes
four (4) easy steps to create your own, customized Visualizations.
Click the Add
Visual button to add a color
and pattern sequence. Click the Visual you desire from the drop
down list. Once selected it will be added to the Visuals
and Effects in Sequence box. Some
Visuals have settings which change the way the Visual looks. Highlight
a Visual in the Sequence box to
view and adjust its settings.
Click the Add
Effect button to add morphing
and moving effects to the Visual. Just like Visuals, some Effects
have settings that
you can adjust, depending on how you'd like the Visual to behave. Highlight
an Effect in the Sequence box
to view and adjust its settings.
Click the OK
button.
Click Start,
then OK to start the Visualization.
Save - After you have created
a Visualization that you'd like to use later on, click the Save button.
This will
save the current settings for your Visualization.
Load - Open a Saved
Visualization to use again.
Tips
Before opening and choosing Visualizations, start a track. When
you configure a custom Visualization you'll see how the music affects
your design.
When you first open Visualizations, grab the window and move it away
from the Media Window. As you create a custom visual using Visualization
Editor, you'll be able to see your changes happen in the Media Window.
Creating custom Visualizations is easy with the many color and pattern
choices available. Feel
free to use all of the buttons and settings associated with each Visual
and Effect. You'll be amazed at what you'll be able to create. |
