Terraform - A Plugin for GenesisII

Function
This plugin generates supplies various terraforming functions for GenesisII.

Setting up the plugin
Simply copy the terraform.glg file to your GenesisII plugins directory. As this plugin is written in Borland C++Builder you must also download the C++Builder common file set from our site and copy it to your GenesisII or Windows system directory.

Options
The plugin displays a dialog box to select the action required. Some actions require parameters to be entered - these are displayed on the notebook. Select OK to process the action. The preview button will update the landscape displayed in the Landscape Editor window.

• Flatten: Flattens the grid towards a supplied height.
• Glaciate: Transforms the surface to mimic the effects of glaciation.
• Canyonize: Erodes the surface to mimic the effects of canyon creation.
• Soften: Softens the landscape surface to remove irregularities.
• Soften More: As Soften but used a wider sampling area.
• Add Noise: Adds noise (roughness) to the surface.
• Add Hill/Depression: Adds a gaussian (smooth bell-shaped curve) hill or depression to the surface. The surface itself is not smoothed and each application is additive.
