Project Summary:
The Online Olympics are open to the first ten schools which respond. It includes four events for grades one through five. Results will be posted online.  Online ceremonies and virtual awards will be presented to the medalists.

Full Project Description:
The Olympics consists of four events for grades one through five.  The events are:
        Softball Throw
        40 Yard Dash
        Standing Broad Jump
        Hula Hoop Enduro
Participating schools may request a copy of an appleworks database that could be used to record results by email.  Each school will submit their top three results for each event and grade level for both boys and girls by email.

 Objectives:
Students will have the opportunity to compete in physical educational activities against other students around the world.  They will have the opportunity to see their results posted online and compare themselves to other participants. Use of e-mail, a database for recording, and digital photos will be encouraged.
