We are a 5th/6th grade class in Bristol, Indiana, USA.  We are studying
communities around the world and the effects of worldwide communication.
Our friend, Whisper the Unicorn, would like to visit people around the
world.
We would like to have you answer a few questions about your community and
send Whisper on to others.

Full Project Description:
We are a 5th/6th grade class in Bristol, Indiana, USA.  We are studying
communities around the world and the effects of worldwide communication.
Our friend, Whisper the Unicorn, would like to visit people around the
world.
We would like to have you answer a few questions about your community and
send Whisper on to others.

Participants will email our class requesting a visit from Whisper.  When
Whisper
arrives please email us back letting us know what he can see in your
classroom
and community.  Things we are interested in include:
1.  Where you live (town/city, state, country, continent)
2.  Number of students in your class and the grade
3.  Number of students in your school and the grades
4.  What language(s) are spoken in your community

Optional Additional Activity:
Participating teachers are asked to consider passing Whisper along to
others with
a request to email our class with information on where they live
(town/city, state,
country, continent) and a request to pass Whisper along to others.  We
would like to
be able to contact schools and/or people on as many continents and in as
many
countries as possible.

We will be posting the results of our project on our school website
toward the end
of the project.
