To download individual messages

You can specify that certain messages within a newsgroup be downloaded the next time you connect to the Internet.

1. While you are offline, select the previously downloaded message headers that you want to specify for downloading the next time you connect.

   Offline means that you are not connected to the Internet, or that you have clicked Work Offline on the File menu.

2. On the Tools menu, point to Mark for Offline, and then click Download Message Later. Repeat these steps for each newsgroup whose messages you want to read later.
3. When you go online, on the Tools menu, click Synchronize All, and then you can go offline to read your messages after they are downloaded.

Note

• You can display only the messages that you selected for offline reading. After you download the messages for offline reading and disconnect from the Internet, on the View menu, point to Current View, and then click Show Downloaded Messages.
