Auto Backup

Using the Auto Backup feature you can schedule your backups using the Task Scheduler that is included with Internet Explorer version 4 and above or Windows 98.

Open My Computer, or whatever you've called it. Double click the Task Scheduler and click on "Add Scheduled Task". Follow the instructions from the Wizard, browsing down the list of available programs to "Auto Backup". You can use the Task Scheduler to make unattended backups when you are not using your computer.

You should first set Zip Backup and make sure that it works to your satisfaction before using this feature, as it operates on all of the settings you made in the main program. It is recommended that you set the Auto Skip function on the options menu. You can set the Auto Close option to on, the Auto Backup program will then close when finished. Or you can leave this option off to see that the program did in fact run at the scheduled time. You can also view the log file to confirm your backup was made correctly.
