Full Project Description:
In every nation, people from all countries have helped to make a better world.

Some of these people, in the past, have led fascinating lives, leaving their marks on the
destiny and culture of their nations. These people are often remembered for their ideas,
ideals and accomplishments.

In this " My Fellows," students will consider and re-consider their own
ideals, as expressed in the question, "How would I like the world to be different
when I grow up?" Then, the kids will portray some of their countrymen and
countrywomen in a virtual book. In this book, students will show how these people
helped to make the world a better place.

Finally, students will think about another of Kidlink's Four Questions, "What can I do now
to make the world a better place?" Kids will think about how they, as well as their their
famous countrymen and countrywomen, are working to improve the world, not just to
help their own nations.

"My Fellows" is a Kidforum topic, offered under the aegis of the international
Kidlink organization.

Objectives:
To help students understand their own national histories
To improve students' understanding of nations other than their own
To help students clarify their own views on the betterment of the world
To improve students' communication skills
