Full Project Description:
Our second grade students are studying weather around the world. We want to learn which areas of the United States and world have weather conditions that are similar to ours. Additionaly, we also want to learn which areas have weather very different from ours. As a result, students will look to see if there are patterns of similarities and differences in weather conditions.
For one day only, Tuesday, February 6, 2001, we would like to collect data on weather conditions in your town between noon and 1 p.m.
Please register for this project by Tuesday, January 23rd. We would like to limit this project to 30 classrooms from around the world. If you would like to see the results from last year's project, please visit http://tps.k12.mi.us/~tecteam/weather.html.
